Event Details

When: April 19, 2008 (Saturday) - Around lunchtime (12/13 - TBC)
Where: Florence / Firenze, Le Cascine (more info below)
What: A casual get-together to meet other Expats (bloggers and non) in Italy!
Who: Significant others and families are welcome (be sure to note how many in your RSVP) and non-Expat friends are welcome, too. (English is the language of the day, though)
IMPORTANT: Please bring your own food!! This is a casual event and food is not being organized for the attendees. We will try to list a few supermarkets nearby if you want to buy something beforehand.

So we all proposed a book for the next time and then voted.

Our second book club meeting is going to be held at WABI SABI- in via Romana at 8:30pm this Wednesday March 5th. The book is THE COMMONER.. if you are planning on attending please write to me at clinton.healey@gmail.com so I will reserve for the correct number of persons....see you there.

Movies Anyone?

I was thinking that this month "strangely" there are lots of decent flicks playing in English at the Odeon and was wondering if anyone would like to join me one night for dinner and a movie (or maybe aperi-cena and a movie). I am particularly interested in seeing Charles Wilson's War which is on next Monday and Tuesday, but there may be others who want to see something else. In any event- if anyone wants to see a movie send in a comment and we can set up some movie dates for any of you out there who are "dying to see a movie in English".
